From first contact to ongoing care
Care begins with an evaluation: a Comprehensive Evaluation (90 minutes, $1,200) or an Extended Evaluation (two hours, $2,400, including a report). We'll go over your symptoms, goals, any previous treatment, and relevant history. You don't need an extensive treatment history to begin.
Some patients come for ongoing care; others come for a defined consultation. The extended evaluation concludes with a written assessment and individualized treatment recommendations — a roadmap you can use with me or bring back to your current treatment team. If you're unsure which to choose, an optional Fit Call can help.

Research supports telehealth for psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy. You must be physically located in one of these states at the time of each appointment.

Care built for a specific kind of patient
This practice is probably not the right fit if you need in-network insurance care, a refill without an evaluation, care for someone under 18, or emergency and crisis services.
It may be a good fit if you're an adult navigating OCD, anxiety, perfectionism, or mental health concerns during pregnancy, postpartum, or another stage of life, and you want a careful evaluation and a clear conversation about your options.
With your permission, I coordinate with your therapist so care stays connected. Follow-up is tailored to your clinical needs and revisited over time.

A two-hour evaluation often gives us enough time to complete the assessment and begin treatment when appropriate, but prescribing is never guaranteed at either visit.
Insurance
My practice is private-pay and out of network. I provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. In some cases, I can also submit a courtesy claim electronically on your behalf, depending on whether your plan accepts it. This does not make the practice in network or guarantee reimbursement.
Courtesy electronic claims are sometimes possible with Aetna, Cigna, and Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, depending on the individual plan. Please ask about your specific coverage.
Payment is due at the time of service, and you are responsible for payment regardless of any insurance reimbursement.
Appointment policies
Appointment times are reserved for you. The following policies apply to all appointment types:
Late Cancellation (<48 hours notice)
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice incur a $250 fee, unless the full-fee policy below applies.
Missed Appointment or Cancellation with <24 Business Hours' Notice
Missed appointments and cancellations made with less than 24 business hours' notice incur the full appointment fee instead of the $250 fee. These charges are not added together.
These policies exist to preserve appointment availability for patients who need them. Emergency exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis. Full policy details are provided and reviewed at the time of booking.

Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly through the online scheduler without a referral from another provider.
What should I expect at the first appointment?
